Prom party sex acts were consensual, attorneys say

Attorneys intend to prove the sex acts after the Calhoun High School prom were consensual. Earlier this week a grand jury indicted three teenagers on aggravated sexual battery charges. Avery Johnson, Fields Chapman and Andrew Haynes all face 25 years to life in prison if they’re found guilty. Two of them, Chapman and Haynes, also face sodomy charges. In addition, Chapman was charged with sexual exploitation of children. He allegedly had explicit photos and videos of a minor on his cell phone. Police say the charge involves a different victim but occurred on the same day. Haynes’ attorney, Steve Williams, says his investigation indicates the after prom party on May 10th included widespread sexual activity.
