City outlaws saggy pants because they're bad for your health

The city of Pikeville is moving to make saggy pants against the law. The city council’s unanimously approved an ordinance that would require anyone wearing their pants more than three inches below the top of the hips, to pay a fine. The ordinance states that wearing sagging pants is, quote - injurious to the health of the wearer as it causes improper gait.” The fine would be $25 dollars or more for a first offense and up to $50 dollars after that. The city requires three more readings of the ordinance. If it passes, the law would go into effect in the coming months.
