Atlanta Braves to move, build new stadium

The Atlanta Braves is moving out of Atlanta. Officials say the team will move about 20 miles north into Cobb County at the start of the 2017 season. The new stadium is projected to cost $672 million dollars, and will be built in partnership with Cobb County. The Braves have played in downtown Atlanta since 1966 and have played at Turned Field since 1997. The Braves current lease at Turner Field expires after the 2016 season.
