Chattanooga Update - February 26, 2015

It looks like the meteorologists finally got it right. More than six inches of snow has fallen on Chattanooga. The snow started just before 5 p.m. Wednesday and stayed heavy until midnight. So far, Hamilton County EMS says no major accidents have happened in the area. Public works crews have been plowing and treating city streets throughout the night, but officials urge everyone to stay off the roads if possible. If you must drive, residents are asked to have emergency supplies just in case. But the snow will be short-lived. The high today is expected to be 41 in Chattanooga.
